Need some help on a broken lifter part

It is a pin that is pressed into a drilled hole in the lock plate. It should be easy to make as long as you can supply the exact measurements or send the entire lock to a machinist/smith.

How does this secure into the lock mechanism? Took a picture of the broken piece?

Looks like more then just a pin to me, but this is alien territory for me.

Tom,Forrest has it right.The end of the stirrup that is broken connects to the hooked end of the main spring. PM Austin he may be able to help you vwith that.
