Steve be careful how you close a potential attack on your computer. Hackers are clever and sometimes clicking on the red X in the upper right of your web browser will lead to an infection. When in doubt use Ctl-Alt-Del and then ending the suspect process is safer.

Hold down the Ctl and Alt keys with left hand then press Del key with right. That brings up the Task Manager. Look under Applications for what is running on your computer. Select the suspected attack page, then click End Task.
