My first impression was great gun but about 20% overpriced. That being said if the gun fits your need and you can afford it , buy it because in a few years it will only cost you more. Remember the old saying, you never pay too much for a good Parker, you just pay it too soon.

First off, thank you for your timely replies, I appreciate your input.

Funny that you speak of the gun fitting my needs. I've recently sold my first and only Parker (1904 VH 30" XFull/XFull) because it really didn't fill the bill for a Continental Trap gun. Even though it was used only occasionally, it just wasn't quite right.

Since then, I decided that the only need I have regarding a Parker is that I need to own one. I shoot Supers and 21's and can meet all my shooting and hunting needs with those fine guns, however, I felt a sense of emptiness not owning a Parker to occasionally take out and shoot. Couple that with the fact that I have invested in The Parker Story and have barely scratched the surface of that voluminous endeavor, there just really is no choice, I've got to have another Parker.

I suppose I'm preaching to the choir, I believe you folks know what I mean. Thanks,
Bobby

That gun is a great choice for someone who "Just has to own a Parker".
