I recently did this type of repair on a Mauser 98 rifle for a gentleman. Stock was cut way too short and it wouldn't work wth the claw mount scope on it.

There are times when a butt transplant is an excellent option for repair. And done right, the results are excellent. That is a nice one Bruce.
