I heard a story - can anyone confirm it? I was told that when the original Parkers were sent to Japan to be used as models, they were told to "Copy this gun exactly". When the first prototypes were received, there were tool marks and scratches on some of the internal parts, and when those faults were pointed out, the Japanese said "There were tool marks on the original gun, and you told us to copy the gun exactly". True?
