NE North Carolina and SE Virginia around Currituck Sound and Back Bay is full of Swans right now. (First of March) Saw multiple flocks of thousands in fields coming back from shooting Sporting Clays in Sligo NC yesterday

Here is a good bird web site you can type in what you want to see or were you want to go. Bird watchers use it extensively

I don't keep list but will drive some distance to see what I like to see. Canvasbacks for example. Down in Texas recently took the Grand kids 4 & 6 to a good spot to see Blue Geese coming in at twilight. They were bowled over by sitting in the middle of thousands of birds coming in off Galveston Bay. Bigger hit than video games. Found the spot off the EBird web site
