The last time I went so far as to click on the 1st "Buy It Now" button that takes you to the final "Commit To Buy" button, but I just couldn't do it. I want a gun to shoot and with this gun's helacious drop and very little damascus pattern remaining it just wasn't what I wanted. And because of its provenance you dasn't touch it for fear of destroying its significant historical value, the right thing to do was to pass on it . . . there will be others . . .

There, I feel better.
Exactly the same thing for me. I figured at that price it was a great value that would always have appeal to others should I decide to sell it, but I couldn't get past the 4" drop. When they start getting that hockey stick bend to them, they loose a lot of eye appeal. Sure the provenance was top shelf, but I'd have to be able to shoot it.
