A mint Maynard Civil War carbine, an 1873 trapdoor carbine, a beautiful Smith carbine...both nearly new, a fantastic Spencer carbine, an 1876 Winchester in 45/60, my grandfather's old Remington model 11, a BSA double and an Auto - 5...that is all I can recall now.

They caught the guy two days later on his way to LA (I was living close to SFO.) The cops put an add in the paper saying that if anyone had lost some items in the resent rash of burglaries that they were to go to the police department and collect their stuff.

So I went over there. I asked about my guns. "What guns?" Was their reply.
