Cabelas didn't get the nick name "The Evil Empire" for nothing. I know first hand all to well of their "business" practices buy very low sell as hifg as possible.
Dennis Highby in Sydney nor only runs Cabelas the Gun Libraries are his baby. James I would bitch to him directly.
I know of more than one dealer who look at their site and cruise for underpriced guns (and there are some out there) and do well at it. Then there are those overpriced nightmares also.
