Ed,I just went and pulled my 16ga. GHE out of the safe and the barrel steel markings are exactly like your picture. They stand for Parker Special Steel. Is that how your rib is marked?

Default Parker Special Steel

There were few fluid steel grade 2 guns made prior to s/n 159000, which Charlie Price dates as 1912. The later circle P stamp may not have been made until around WWI when all the barrel making was changed. Might be a good idea to compare the PS stamp with the HT/A and the Conn or Ct on the rib. Send the numbers to Josh for Parkers Found if it appears so.

Best, Austin
