Reminds me of a hunt with a now deceased family member who turned out his liver colored pointer who huffed and puffed like a bull-dog and ran 20 mph continously with a log chain around his neck. He was telling me how much he had been offered for him while my mild mannered English setter Bucky was working the field methodically. The bull-dog pointer busted right through every covey we came to without ever stopping. Don't know about the rest of the dog's life but that day he would not have known a bob-white from his butt.
