6lbs-8oz is the norm for 20ga. repro PG- 26". some English stocked guns are at 6lbs-6oz., some 28" guns come in at 6lbs-10oz or if they have BTF ....these are the norm but can vary??? That's why I really like the repro 16 guns they come in at 6lbs-4oz with 28" barrels and PG stock perfect! SXS ohio

I know I am not normal. Believe me, many people have told me so. It must have had some effect on my selection when purchasing my repros. I have two, both 20's. The one pictured earlier in this thread does indeed weigh 6-12 but it does not feel like it. One serious well heeled grouse hunter friend has some very expensive English guns. I let him shoot my Parker on a round of 5-stand once. Immediatly thereafter he offered to buy it. Of course it is not for sale so he went out and bought one himself of the same configuration. Not the same dynamics as mine. He was so disgusted he offered to trade me his plus an insane amount of money. Nope not for sale. They are not all built the same.

I also have a 28 inch barreled gun, PG, DT, BFE. It weighs 6-15. With the snap caps in it just ticks the 7 pound mark. So, again I must have picked an abnormal gun. It is just a bit muzzle heavy but I bought it to shoot sporting clays and for that it is ideal.

Yep, I'm not normal and neither are my Parkers and I am just fine with that. Now, if only I could find an abnormal 12 ga!

She really was annoyed posing for the duck picture, although she does retrieve them. The birds in the second picture are much more to her liking, although of course, that's not a Parker Repro.

Her name is Dot, although we call her Dottie for short (), or Dorothy when she acts particularly human (which is often). What are your "boys'" names?

Joe, my older Brittany's name is usually Reilly, but he has recently assumed another identity in preparation for the 31st.

Meanwhile my younger Brittany Parker has been busy working on being steady to wing and shot. He isn't quite there yet:

Default Potter co. 2013

Made my first trip over to camp to hunt. I used my trusty repro 16 Q1/Q2. 1st is my doodle, 2nd is my grouse, 3rd is my gun and our two grouse for the day. We moved about 15 birds 5 miles in and 5 miles out. Deer hunters had used our logging trail about the same time and moved the birds away from the trial or we would have had better sets...)-:
