Default Barrel inspection

Anyone know of a instrument that is small enough to insert inside barrels and be able to take pictures or just be able to check for problem spots. Thanks Thomas

I don't have a name of the instrument company but the Technician at the shop where I get my car worked on has one. It is a small fiber optic instrument, the "eye" part will fit through a sparkplug hole so that he can see what is going on in a cylinder, etc

A friend that owns a gunshop has one, if no one else pipes up I'll ask when I see him next week.

I used it to inspect a percussion shotgun, what a great tool

Tom go to ebay and search endoscope. Bought one for @ 120.00 and you can see inside barrels on its own screen our your computer or smart tv. Great tool for the price. Jim

It is a bore scope but is called by different names depending on your profession or what hole you wish to insert it into.

Look up 'bore scope' on Google and you will fine a variety of styles and prices. They can get a bit pricey.

Thomas, you can use the same instrument for doing colonoscopy's and charge a hefty bundle for the service. It's a bit messy but find someone with a Parker that needs to have his/her barrels inspected and also who is in need of a colonoscopy and offer them a deal. Two for one sort of. It's an idea anyway as a way to offset the initial expense.
