Hi Phil,
The album of the DH which you posted today looks okay.
I shoot my close ups with a Nikon D200 and 60mm Micro Nikkor Lens. I shoot close ups from a stable tripod with a RF remote shutter release. I also spend a lot of time adjusting the light to reduce glare for each shot.
I use a Medium JPEG format. My photos are re-sized using the standard MS Office Picture Manager to Document Large before uploading.
