You guys are splitting hairs on grouse gun weight. The last time I was able to walk in the grouse woods, Kevin McCormack and I were hunting north of Greene, New York. I was carrying my favorite Sauer ten gauge loaded with 1 1/8 ounce RSTs and somehow survived.

I took my faithful Chesador named Radar for a walk this morning with a 9 lb 10 oz Super Fox in hand. Before too long I while Radar was sniffing for small animals I was holding the Super Fox in my left hand and pulling weeds from around my young spruce trees with my right. This went on for about an hour until I was quite sweaty. Deciding that was enough we walked back to the house. On the way a pigeon flew into an ounce and an eighth of #8's from the Super Fox. Radar was then a very happy dog!

I appreciate the two light 16's and two 20 gauges that sit in my gunsafe. I just shoot heavy guns better...

Mark

IMO, the #1 frame is the best sized Parker frame for most adults.

COB I think that you secretly covet big guns I sell you a real Parker 12 gauge pigeon gun and use the money to buy myself a English pigeon gun. What happens? You try to buy that 12 gauge from me Next you will be trying to buy from me my 36" DH 10 gauge! COB you are not a 16 gauge affectionado as you lead everyone to believe. Admit that you are a closet big bore fan!

Never fear I have NO DESIRE to own a 10 I shot that English gun better than you did and am worried for your overall self esteem at the traps. Besides remember who talked you into that English pigeon gun

As much as I like the two #2 frame 12's I have for sporting clays I shoot more with a small bore. I hunt with a small bore and we all know small bores rule

Mills just find yourself a nice 30 or 32 inch small bore, you'll be glad you did.

No one really want's a 36 inch barreled 10 they just think they want one, then its a 36 inch 8ga then.....well then your shooting clays with a punt gun

I have an 8" howitzer on order for sporting clays. I'll use is to take out the traps before I call "pull"!
