My LC Smith is a 1924 vintage Ideal grade, 3" chambers. Hope to use it
For geese and perhaps Turkey. I also have a LC Smith field grade in
10 bore. Used that gun in S. Dakota for pheasants. Loaded up 120 grains
Black powder and 1-3/8 oz. 6 shot in brass hulls. Even got some
Birds! I deer hunt in Wis. And Mn., no buck shot up here. I have
Considered loading up old Belgium double muzzle-loader with
Ball and trying that during black powder season.
