I spoke to my father tonight, who spent the first 45 years of his life in Buffalo. If he were a Parker shotgun, his serial number would be around 220XXX.
I asked him if he ever heard of Ed Rose Sporting Goods and without any hesitation he said, "Oh sure, they were over on Main Street. I bought that .222 I have there."
It's hard for most people to fathom, but at one time Buffalo was one of the strongest cities in the US....
