I received a reply today from KTP with an apology for the delay due to the person who normally responds to GB inquiries was out of pocket a few days. Here is their reply FYI.

"Thanks for your inquiry about our auction. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been away for the past 3 days, and the person who usually answers e-mails in my absence was out, too.

As you can see from the pictures the gun is in great shape. No rust, pitting, or dents on or in the barrels. The case coloring is not strong anywhere, but there is no rust, pitting or any marring on the receiver, or other metal parts. There are no cracks or chips in the wood, however there are a few light press marks and scratches. None of these break through the finish, but press the finish into the wood. "

I didn't see the 28 ga repro in hand but perhaps the PGCA colleague who did handle and inspect it might want to comment on the KTP reply.
