I too have been wondering about this. As I have a few barrels that may need some work. I will be interested to hear other feedback.
I have contacted CSMC previously about this and that was a dead end. I know that Turnbull has the capability to re roll stamp the makers marks, but rib matting was not part of that discussion I had with them.
