here's a couple more pics: 1) these bbls were filed to a tapered flat at the muzzles ans extending back about 4". Wall thickness at the filing .045 compaed to .065 for rest of muzzle. 2) Another view of the flat filing. Notice the hole. No idea what it's from but it appears machine made.
