I have seen this done, and the results look good.
Todd: The butt plate is a flat DHBP with no "widows peak" so I think I can just remove it and add a pad.

I gave that one a hard look. Really hard. The 30" barrels and the chokes pretty much had me sold. Had it been for sale by anyone else I probably would have caved.

Bruce, I also was watching that gun. Very good price from a dealer not known for that. Great looking gun.

On Beartooth pads on some
Short Parkers. For 25 or so you have several inserts that would be perfect
