For openers, the rib will not have Parker Bros, Meriden Ct. Vulcan Steel rolled into it. I think the rib has Winchester Reproduction stamped into it. The S/N will have the gauge #, a dash and then a 4 or 5 digit number. Its been a long time since I sent my repro down the road so memory fails me about further details.

I still have the stock that split through the wrist around here somewhere. And the letter from Larry Del Grego concerning the defect in the gun that caused it to not open after taking a shot at a straight overhead bird.
