Google it too. Lots of info. Was big hardware wholesaler. Went out of business around 1960.

I believe George Worthington shot also. Use la84foundation.com to figure out what George was doing around that time. When using the search function, specify "sporting life" and use "george worthington cleveland" to eliminate a bunch of irrelevant information. You may also just use "worthington" to get information that does not include his first name. Always select the "text version" so your guy's name is highlighted.

Sounds like a heck of a gun. Several years back I bought an unused Redhead pad on Ebay. The original box had a Worthington price tag on it. Pad is long gone but think I still have the box. Best I can remember they were a hardware or department store.
