Maybe for you, but not for me. I've been to Cordoba on two different trips and shot to my heart's content with a doublegun (20 ga. Beretta SPII Sporting) both times. While it is an unmatched shooting destination for doves, and just a wonderful trip overall, it will never take the place of traditional dove shooting in the South.

First time I went I arrived back home on the Thursday before dove season opened here on Saturday (and I prefer late August in Cordoba). Saturday afternoon I was on my stool in a sunflower field enjoying it just as much as i ever did.
