I've never sold a rifle. I traded one, a Savage 99 takedown in .300 Savage. Cool old rifle but inaccurate as all get out. "Only accurate rifles are interesting."

The only rifle I would want back is a custom Ruger 10/22 I built myself to shoot Sportsman Team Challenge events back in the 90s. Basic 10/22 action, Volquartsen trigger group parts, Chip McCormick mag lever, tuned the mags for ease of quickly loading them, Fajen coffee-color laminated thumbhole stock, Numrich 1" heavy bbl with target crown. Topped with a straight 20X scope to shoot those small steel swingers. I didn't sell it but traded for another of my favorites, a "black rifle".

I have mentioned previously that I had all the M70's in both STD and FWT configurations except the 458 and 300 Win Mag. This collection included two 300 Savages and three 7MM along with a couple of Super Grades. I sold off all except a 270 and 358 FWT's and a 7MM carbine. Do I regret it not really as I rolled the cash into a AAHE 32 inch F/F that I dearly love.

Rich I’d loved to have seen the collection . Also think you shoulda kept the 264 Win Mag standard with the 26” stainless barrel .

Well I’m kinda a 6mm 6.5mm and 7mm snob as far as cartridges are concerned anymore hence my affection for the 264 .
