Hi Dan, congratulations on your new Parkers. Could you post a picture of the barrel flats please? I ask because you stated the frame size was a 12. Most likely it's a 12 gauge, there is no frame size 12. You also said the barrel weight was 3. You could be right but that could also be the frame size. A nice close-up picture of the barrel flats will clear all of that up. Include the bottom of the lug as well please.

Default Markings.

Frame size is marked on the barrel lug.

The weight of the barrels is marked on the flats (weighed before striking).

And in this example, we know that the grade of steel is “Vulcan”, and the barrel maker was Walter King.

Thanks guys!

The front forend serial number does match. Can you tell it was swapped by the quality of wood or checkering?

It does say 12 and 1-1/2, so must be frame size of 1-1/2
Barrel weight says 3^12, Does this mean 3lb 12oz?
