Ya, If the book is right it's a real shame. But if the price is right it would be one hell-of-a gun. Those muzzles are suspect but we have seen guns leave the factory clipped to fill an order.Trouble is I just don't know....

You just have to have the gun in hand. However, a factory letter may prove that the order book specifies a 36" gun and maybe the stock book was misread when the serialization book was put together. More pictures, more use of the micrometer, PGCA letter.

Thanks for getting into this, Mark. The fellow doesn't seem to want to deal in PGCA letters. I asked for a scan of the letter on the 14 gauge and that I was very interested. He replied "There is no letter.".

He states in his text about the above gun that he ordered a letter.Maybe it's not in hand yet.

The order book has 10/38. The stock book is missing. I have seen cases were the length of barrels does not match the order and the shipping time is a few days after the order. This would indicate to me that they filled the order with a gun in stock. This gun took 6 months to ship so I supect it was 38 inches when it left PB.

Freebee for the holidays.
