I thank my maternal grandfather God rest his soul for my deep intrest in 10 gauge 2 7/8” doubles ! It all started around 1968 or 1969 when I first became aware of the circa 1881 W&C Scott 10 gauge hammerless he had . And as expected that guns in my possession along with a rather LARGE covey of other 10 doubles . So to me shooting pheasants with a 10 gauge is rather cool
