This statement is NOT completely true.

At least in regards to width. The different frame sizes have different widths. Except for a couple exceptions where widths are shared.

The only truth to it would in regards to height. The height of the frames from barrel flats to trigger plate are the same. This MAY explain the opinion of a “pregnant” appearance.
