A good question indeed ! If I were truly interested in the VH , I would send for a letter , our Data on this site says info.exists for Serial # 182947 ,and would find out if this was a real 28 Gauge O frame gun or a twenty gauge gun turned into a 28 Ga. with the after market barrels which by the way have an issue " as mentioned by the seller " with the rib extension ! Just my opinion but if you want a true small bore Parker and were spending around $4200.00 and this particular gun started life as a 20 Bore ,then I would look for a nice 0 Frame 20 Bore and buy it , if my heart was set on a 28 Gauge and also resale down the road is an issue as you mentioned , I would think resale would be easier with a DHE Grade ,28 Gauge Repro that was taken care of than this particular gun ,especially if it were a Double Trigger Gun with the Small Beavertail Forend ! JMHO ,Good Luck with your decision ! Russ
