As I understand it, Lord Ripon's hammer Purdeys were/are ejector guns but not self cocking.

You bring up a great point. I was thinking of that last night. In the video I watched the guys were using hammerless guns with ejectors. But I had remembered Ripons guns were hammerguns. I was not aware they were ejector type. But non the less to do what he did with hammerguns is a heck of a feat. Esp for the loaders. BTW didn't they have a hard time selling at least one of those guns with in the past few years? |

Various of Ripon's guns have been offered in the recent past. Whether they are or have been "together", I don't know. Donald Dallas' Purdey books probably picture and give information on the Ripon guns.
