As always, thank you gents

My first impression was the same as Deans thinking it may be for a weight adjustment as I've had rifles w/an adjustable trigger in the past, albeit adjustments made from the interior of the trigger group.

Just wasn't sure in this case as I've never had a s-gun with a single trigger before and have remained curious, so thanks again for schooling me.

Now that I'm looking at it & understanding what it is I'm looking at (riding in a dovetail), it looks like maybe 1/4" travel at best?

Not really interested in the gun but it is a nice one..sure is a robust design!
