Gary, according to testimony given by Charles King, Parker Bros. only produced their own composite barrels in 1877, 1878, and 1879 and it is my own belief that they were Laminated Steel. It is also my belief that the Parker produced barrels have a P stamped on the right barrel flat where the steel type designation stamp normally appears.
