This is a early front action 14gauge with 30" Damascus barrels, 135.00 grade. The 14 gauge was not listed in the early catalogues, but this is a true 14gauge, The gun is shown in the serialization book pg 15, and the Parker Story page 233, Gary

mighty nice gun and in rare 14 ga...i ran across a hammerless d grade a few years back always wished i had bought it...all i have is a 11 ga hammer gun gun i got from brian but it sure aint up to snuff with your beautiful gun...charlie

The serial number is 1147, made around 1872, early front action, Look at the pb in the shield on the barrels could this be an early attempt by Parker to make barrels? Gary

Does anyone know what the inside measurement of an 11 ga chamber would be? I have an early lifter which I thought was 12ga, however when you shoot a 12 ga shell it will often split the brass. It is serial number 4989. Just wondering if it could be an 11 ga? Carvel
