I can sympathize with the author or who ever proof read the article because the same thing happened to me. Back in November 2012, an article was written by a friend of mine that writes a monthly column in Shotgun Sports Magazine. He knew that I was involved with the PGCA doing research letters and thought it would make a great article on the history of Parkers and how you can get information on a particular Parker you may own. He interviewed me and I sent him pictures of my Parkers to include in the article. I asked to proof read the article but he replied back that he had already sent the finished copy to the publisher. I couldn't wait till I received my copy but to my amazement, the first page of the article had a color photograph of a LC Smith gun! All the other pictures were of my Parkers. When I told him that was not a Parker, he said he had taken a bunch of pictures of guns at my first SxS shoot and liked this particular picture, not knowing it wasn't a Parker. Nothing you can do once it's published but just grin and bear it!
