I have an 1897 GH that had the damascus barrels replaced with Vulcan barrels. A friend has an AAH from 1897 with Whitworth barrels. His Great Grandfather was the original purchaser and had five additional barrels fitted to the gun by Parker. As I remember all were Vulcan barrels.
