The la84.com digital research files have a wealth of information about the goings on at the time. That is where Steve and I started our search for Stearns and the source of the great Parker.

Thank you, Bill. I'll look it up. By the way, I've contacted the Valentine Museum here in Richmond and I should have more information--and possibly pictures--in the next week or so.
