Reloading 28-ga. 2 3/4" RST hulls?

I load Rem STS or Win AA hulls personally. And have used 11.6 grs. of Universal Clays, Win 209 primer, with a Duster wad and 3/4 oz of 8 1/2 shot for years. It's very mild at about 1100 fps, and works great in my English doubles. As long as it crimps OK, it should be fine in RST hulls... which I believe are Fiocchi.

John, I hate to hijack a thread, but can you tell us about your English 28 gauges? Most of us are working on acquiring our first English 28 gauge. It sounds like you may have more than one.

I, too; reload STS and AA hulls using Univ. Clays, W209 primers, but with Claybuster wads. Is the load that you have shared a published recipe with tested pressure and velocity data?

FYI . . . I called RST and they informed me that they are actually Cheddite hulls.
