The Fall 2014 Issue of Parker Pages will have a good selection of "real hunting stories". They all do however, promote the use of the Parker shotgun, so I hope that is okay with you all...

I am in favor of going back in previous threads and posts and hit the "THANKS" button for about everything that our Parker Pages editor, Dean Romig, has posted that we agree with. I can't believe that we have him on our staff. Wow, thanks.

This is the second time in as many months that Bill has gushed profusely about the many fine qualities of our Parker Pages Editor. One might offhandedly presume there was some palm greasing going on here, but I suspect not.
I'll be the first to admit, once you get over the first shock of meeting him, and put aside those uneasy feelings, our editor isn't a bad guy. It may test the fortitude, of the more faint-of-heart, to work up to a full exposure, but I can assure you, if you hang in there, tough it out, as it were, you'll find he really isn't that bad a guy after all. While I may be in the minority, I have found his advice, counsel and general good demeanor to be rare.
Oh, and I am the opinion that Mr. Murphy, too, has a reasonable track record of sharing his knowledge, researching esoteric stuff, and posting his efforts for us.
My opinions have been drawn in to question a lot lately, so you can take this with the grain of sweat I worked up deciding if I even wanted to mention it.
