Bill, I have seen a letter for a DH that said it was patterned for buck shot. If I recall correctly, the original owner was in La.

Well a new firing pin has been fabricated heat treated and installed !

Now all thats left is to get the forend back , I sent that off to my stock guy to fix the tip were the ebony inlay is .

Once thats back I'll try some primed cases in the gun to make sure then pin is okay !

And then fabricate a forend flat spring .
