What shot size??

Don't think I'd ever want to use such small shot on a gamebird. I tried 9's before and even they rendered the grouse and woodcock unfit to eat if you centered them. I prefer 8's and 7 1/2's. I have cases of AA 9's in 20 ga, but will use them only on clays now.

I use #9 on Quail and Woodcock. I have used RST #10 on Quail with great success.

Harold just head shoot them and you wont tear them up If your over burdened with those AA's some can migrate north
