I own a petmecky in the orginal box along with the originnal instructions, that have testimonials dated 1883-1885. On the outside of the two part red box, it lists the price as $1.25, mail 10 cents extra. On the brass shell is engraved, "J.C. Petmecky. Austin, Texas. Patented Nove 27, 1883. ....just wondering what the value would be.
