I had the big 10 gauge loaded with OO leaned in the corner of the blind hoping one would walk by close. I passed on some does, finally just before dark this nice fat yearling buck came out, just too far for the shotgun. I brought the Stevens High Power .35 Remington into play and stopped him in his tracks. Not bad for an old man in coke bottle bottom glasses shooting iron sights out of a 100 year old rifle at 70+ plus yards.
