Michigan grouse hunting info needed..(-:
Hi all....I want to explore some new grouse hunting. Looking into a late September Michigan hunt on the Lame Duck foot access GEMS. Anyone hunted this area? Recommend lodging with one setter dog in tow? We will be near town of Alder and Gladwin. Not opposed to hunting one of the other gems if good hunting and place to stay available? This would be my first time hunting Michigan and would like to find a good area to hunt each September/October in future years. We are in Ohio and drive time is 8 hours to the Lame Duck gem.
