Default the battery

In the Reloading Forum, I asked a question about replicating, as close as I can with modern components, the long range loads that came about with the specialty waterfowl guns like the Super Fox. and mentioned the three ideal Duck Guns I have lined up to hunt this year -

This weekend, I found a 1925 issue of "National Sportsman" that not only had a great full page Lynn Bogue Hunt illustrated ad for the Super-x shell - but also had a Fox Ad referencing the Super, a dedicated ad for the LC Smith Longrange and a Parker ad - although generic - does say they will build you a "hard shooting duck gun with a killing pattern at an extreme range"

all the ads in one magazine

SUPER-X

FOX

LC SMITH LONGRANGE

3 FRAME PARKER 12
