I'm confused too. An SP-16 wad? shotcup? what? in a a 10ga hull? Really? An SP-16 is a shotcup; no confusion there; just sounds very odd. I guess you really are being clear if it really is and SP-16 and not a 16 ga wad of some sort in an SP-10 shotcup; we're just hesitant to believe it, I guess. If there is a pressure reduction using that combination vs using and SP-10, the reason is blowby in my book. What else could it be? Isn't there some other way to accomplish the same thing without wasting powder? Please clarify.

I guess I was composing this as Mark was posting his clarification. Thanks Mark. NOW it makes sense.
