Charlie, too bad you did not locate any turkey sign. I'm not a big turkey hunter anymore, used to be so I don't do much scouting for them. This morning I was about to take the dogs out for a run and happened to look outside first. Ah yes, spring is coming, there they were 12 long beards in a group just outside my back door. Pictures are not very clear and I was not able to get all of them on one frame.
You are more than welcome to come scout around my place - that is, if you don't mind walking through 20 inches of snow and 15 below zero that is forecast for tonight!
