Tim:
Sherman Bell and Tom Armbrust tested 2 3/4 inch cases as compared to 2 1/2 inch cases in short chambers years ago. Pressure increase with a skivved hull like the STS was only 25 psi or so. In other words, virtually nothing.

I've shot 2 3/4 inch hulls in all my short double guns for years, and over tens of thousands of shots, never saw a hint of pressure problems.

Just get the Claybuster 3/4 oz wads, load about 14 or 15 grs of Red Dot and don't worry about it. Velocity will be about 1150 and pressure about 5700 psi.

I'm sure you can reason out a load with 700X too. Or call Claybuster for data.
