Default S/N 11922 is now serviceable

My lifter had a little wiggle between the frame and barrels. It wasn't much but
I could feel it by twisting the gun with both hands. I recently read a thread about shimming the hinge point. It sounded like exactly what my lifter needed.
I acquired some stainless shim stock in .002", .003", .004" and .005" thickness.
I started with the .002" and cut a piece, formed it around pencil to match the radius of the hinge pin. I applied some machine oil and laid the shim in place on the hinge pin, reassembled the gun and VIOLA she locks up tight with no more wiggle. I'm very happy with these results and very much look forward to shooting my oldest Parker bros. shotgun.

Best regards,
