Of all my Parkers my best shooter at birds or clays is a 26" 1-1/2 framed straight gripped VH12. I really like the lighter 1-1/2 framed guns. I just bought a mate to it but with a pistol grip that should arrive today.

I'll wager that has more to do with how the gun fits you (stock dimensions) than any and all other factors such as frame size.

I don't think that's the case entirely Pete. The 1-1/2 frame guns feel much lighter than a 2-frame, at least that's the case for the last 2-frame I bought which is pretty stout and feels much much heavier than any 1-1/2 frame I've handled. My 30" 1-1/2 frame VH12 is the same; feels like a 16. My latest 2-frame feels like a 10ga in comparison. I do have one 2-frame DH12 that is just a touch over 7# and feels almost as light as the smaller framed guns. You're certainly correct about dimensions though; my little 26" gun fits me pretty well; could be I'd shoot it well if it had sewer pipe for bbls....
